Pre-Vipassana (Anapana) Meditation Courses
These courses serve as a stepping stone for those who wish to walk the path of Dhamma (Dharma / धर्म), the natural law & order and experience its profound benefits through meditation. It is designed to prepare you for deeper introspection and to also help you develop the right foundation for Vipassana meditation
Important Note: Make sure you do not have any major commitment on the weekend that falls within the program. Give this course priority to attain maximum benefit.
What You Will Learn:
- What is suffering (dukkha), its true origin, and the path to liberation through meditation and self discovery?
- Who is the so-called “I” or “Me” that we hold so dear yet understand so little?
- Gain insight into life’s biggest challenges—health issues, relationship struggles, financial difficulties—from the perspective of Dhamma.
- Practical meditation steps to cultivate real transformation—not just theoretical knowledge.
- Begin the direct experience of the truth within the framework of your body and mind through meditation.
Program Options:
Morning Session
Time: 6:00 AM – 7:30 AM
Duration: 1.5 hours daily for 5 days
Ideal for beginners, and equally supportive for old students seeking to refine their practice. No prior experience is needed. You’ll be introduced to the practice of Anapana with daily instructions and light reflection.
Evening Session
Time: 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Duration: 1.5 hours daily for 5 days
This evening course suits beginners or old students with busy mornings, offering the same full experience of guided Anapana as that in the morning session.
Advanced – Early Morning Session
Time: 4:30 AM – 6:00 AM
Duration: 2 hours daily for 7 days
For those who have already completed the beginner’s course and are ready to deepen their practice. This session includes extended practice, deeper understanding, inviting a stronger inward journey supported by stillness, structure, and Dhamma reflections.

This course is not affiliated with any official Vipassana Centre, but is offered freely with deep respect for Guruji S.N. Goenka-ji and his tradition.
The intention is to plant a seed of Dhamma in as many suffering people of the world as possible, offering a simple introduction to this timeless technique. While this is just a starting step, students are encouraged to take the full 10-day Vipassana course at an official Centre and advance the journey within, through practice of pure Dhamma.
